What is Potenza Microneedling RF?

How is Potenza different from traditional microneedling, such as MicroPen or SkinPen?
Potenza Microneedling RF differs from Micropen and/or SkinPen because of the deeper layers the Potenza targets. Potenza Microneedling RF emits the needles and radiofrequency into the dermis of the skin, creating more skin tightening and skin remodeling. Is it painful?
Potenza Treatment is very tolerable. We apply numbing cream prior to your treatment and provide you with cold therapy during the treatment for increased comfort.
What is the downtime?
The downtime for Potenza Microneedling RF is very minimal. You will experience redness and slight swelling immediately after the treatment and will settle within 1-2 hours after the treatment. You may resume normal activities and apply make-up the next day after the treatment.
How do I prepare for my Potenza Microneedling treatments?
- Avoid sun exposure and sunburns to the face
- Stay hydrated - being hydrated is important to the healing process of the skin.
- Avoid alcohol consumption 24 hours before your treatment.
- Shave facial hair - Please come clean shaven within 24 hours before your treatment. If not, we will not treat the areas with facial hair.
- Discontinue retinol, hydroquinone, and retin-a for 7 days prior to your treatment day.
When should I expect results?
You will see the best results after 3 sessions of the treatment, each session 4 weeks apart. You can expect to see results as soon as 6-8 weeks from the day of treatment to allow more production of collagen and tightening of the skin. The skin will continue to improve over the following 6-12 months after the treatment.
