Shallow radix

\ ˈsha-(ˌ)lō ˈrā-diks \

A term referring to the position/projection of the radix. Also referred to as a ‘high radix’. A shallow radix creates the appearance of a longer nose. This is due to the forehead and nasal profiles seeming to merge.
